The Town Hall in Nontron has a selection of electric bikes to rent
10 Euros per day
40 Euros per week
Thoroughly recommend them..
We were able to travel to Piegut in 30 minutes along country lanes
The lake at St. Mathieu
You can put as little or as much effort as you like, and it is quite enjoyable..
For a non-cyclist like me, we travelled 60 kilometres one day, which felt no more difficult than a brisk walk to Champniers..
