The holiday cottage, La Chabroulie
is detached and offers complete privacy.
The house and gardens are not overlooked by any other buildings
The location is superb, the property is not in a completely isolated area,
it is within several hundred yards of a small hamlet, La Chabroulie;
and has been recently decorated and furnished to a high standard.

, heats the swimming pool and hot water (an immersion heater can be used during cold spells) throughout the summer.
Even in summer, outside swimming pools can be cold in France,
it is nice to have a warm pool that can be used morning and evening.
Update:- 2013.. After a poor start to the weather in June, a heatwave throughout July and August saw the pool temperatures rise to over 35 degrees...!

The house is surrounded by countryside and is ideal for:-
walking, a quiet fishing holiday, bicycling, or complete relaxation!

*The villa will sleep up to eight people.

La Chabroulie rear garden and Lake

France is renowned for its cordon bleu cuisine and fine wines.
Dordogne countryside, in south west, France is wonderfully tranquil.

The holiday house is several hundred yards away from the nearest neighbours.
Champniers-Reilhac is a small village, within easy walking distance.

There are plenty of fish in the Lake. (and crayfish), Carp I think..
we hear them jumping out the water frequently,
Update from a guest 14th July, 2013 "Caught 11 roach this afternoon. Juveniles biggest about 6 inches."
and if you awake early enough, (5-6am), there
are often a couple of deer under the oak tree

Designer shopping and fine cuisine in,
Perigueux, Limoges and Angouleme.
There are many castles and chateaux in Dordogne.
Parks and Lakes for Boating
and swimming, or just relaxing;
Visiting the local villages and markets...
Throughout the summer there are many local village
fetes in France,
they have quite a traditional flavour and vary greatly
from place to place.

July and August 30-35 degrees,
